We were taken on a beautiful family holiday to Fiji. I was in awe of how the light changed hundreds of times a minute – and I honestly can’t remember experiencing such a beautiful range of light before. The images I captured focused mostly on how Talei and her cousin interacted to what they were seeing and experiencing for the first time. Many times Talei was overwhelmed with heat and people and many times I had to store images in my mind. We spent time in Nadi wandering through the markets and town and temples – experiencing heat and crowds and the feeling of being a little overwhelmed. Remembering that it was all new to her and that every experience was a sensory overload was at times a juggle. We then spent a few days in the Mamanuca group of Islands. Snorkling, swimming, relaxing and spending time together. It was magic.
