When Aimee first contacted me, she suggested we meet up at Erskine – which was where her and Josh would be getting married later in the year. It was a stunning late Summer day, not a breath of wind and it was my first introduction to the beauty that is Erskine
To be honest – I couldn’t help but get pretty excited. And then Aimee and Josh’s actual wedding day hit – at the start of Spring – and in fabulous Wellington style – blowing an almost 100km wind!!! So to cut a very long story short – we were confined to the inside for our photos – but we found a wee corner – with some dreamy light and absolutely made the most of it.
What I noticed about Aimee and Josh is that emotion can be shown in very subtle ways – and that it is still there and still very real. Throughout the day I couldn’t help but be impressed by Aimee’s incredible ability to just remain calm – at all times. And I couldn’t help but be tickled pink by Josh’s new awareness of “where the light was”.
Thank you both for allowing me to capture your very special day. I hope you are having an absolute blast on your honeymoon in Thailand and soaking up as much sun as you can!
