i met gemma for the first time about 13 years ago. she is the very loved baby sister of my dearest friend.
so back when i met her. a long way back when i was fresh out of university. she was still knocking around in a school uniform.
i have had the pleasure of photographing a few pretty important events in gemmas time now.
but for some sweet little reason. this was the one i loved the most.

who today turned 1.
its such a big deal.
navigating your way through this first year.
you have such beautiful self assurance with your amazing wee man. you are so gentle. and he has the twinkliest. most sparkliest. eyes.
