i am sitting here. writing this. the night before you turn four. this time four years ago i was just over half way through your two and a bit day entrance into this big wide world.
you were worth it. totally.
the sleepless nights. the tears. the time that has sped by. the everyday utter amazement at you. the friendships we have created because of you. the dreams we have created. the ones we have put on hold.
the anxiousness that we are getting it right. the days we don’t. the moments we do.
the laughter. our family. giving us such strength. the ambers, lauras, saras and aunty keriths who give your mummy courage.
the days and evenings gardening with daddy. the mud pies. the hot mud chocolates. the sand. the sea.
the hopes we have for you. the creativity we see in you. your stubborn nature. your forthrightness. your hesitation.
your noah. your isla. your mia. who get you. the little angels who give YOU courage.
tonight we headed to some favourite spots.
the beach is always your favourite.
