i have been umming and aaaring over this one for a few weeks.
facebook rules mean i can not run any sort of competition on my page. i cannot ask people to click like or share or anything. my page would be taken away just like that.
but.
i can do something here on my blog. thats not illegal.
so.
i love being a mum. i really do.
it also drives me up the wall sometimes. you know the times i am talking about.
but one thing i don’t always think we do very well as mums and i am being brutally honest here.
is build other mums up. you know what i mean? we don’t always show the unconditional support for each other that we should.
its a tough tough job. a really tough job. it can be lonely. it can be sleepless. it can be making ends meet and creating feasts out of nothing. it can be tearful. it can be grumpy. it can be thankless.
but one thing i have come to appreciate so very much is the love and support from my closest circle of friends who are also mums themselves.
they have picked me up out of my boot straps on the days and weeks when it hurts to even lift my eyelids. they have dropped meals over. they have been a shoulder to cry on. they have encouraged me and loved me through the hardest moments. and most of all they have never ever judged me.
and so this is your chance.
i want you to tell me about another mum. who has supported you. and loved you. and been there for you through your hardest most guilt induced moments in your journey of motherhood.
