Ok….so I dont really know where to start with this post. I may tend to waffle…..but this wee shoot was a million little firsts for me. The first being – and I will just say I am NO stylist! But it was the first shoot that I pre-planned and put together. I spent a long while sewing up the bunting, making the quilt from scraps and folding and unfolding the poofy flower hanging bits……see I dont even have the stylist lingo…..
But….ohhhhhhhh…..how I LOVED every little minute of it……and what was the purpose of it? Well to be honest…..I wanted to inspire you. I want you to go for it…..I know that one of you has a gorgeous old vintage couch that has been sitting in your lounge forever and you have often thought – how amazing would it be to set it up on the beach at sunset and get some photos of us laughing and loving in it? I know one of you has thought you would love to set up a romantic picnic on a cliff top above the beaches of Makara……I could go on and on………
When I was setting up this shoot I had so many people wander over and chat – not one of them thought I was crazy, or attention seeking – they all thought – WOW! What an incredible idea……and they wanted to stay and chat and just share their ideas – and you all have so many amazing ideas.
So I wanted to say – BRING IT! Bring me your wonderful, crazy, whimsical ideas and lets make them happen……..
