i simply couldn’t tell you a right or wrong way to photograph a family.
when i first start chatting to a family who has got in touch with me to photograph them.
we talk about where they would like to head for their photos. which place is special to them and why.
i often get asked what are the right clothes to wear.
what if my children are little monkeys on the day. what if there are tears. tantrums.
i say.
first i am a mum. i have been there and done that. monkeys. tantrums. food stops. the lot.
i always say. when you turn up. be who you are. wear what you would wear if i wasn’t even going to be there.
my style is to capture you. truly as you are. loving your favourite people. hugging them. laughing with them. chasing them. and just being with them.
my images fit together like a story.
