I often get asked – “so, what made you get into photography?” I usually always reply first – it was my Dad. He always had a camera with him, and I think that made us pretty lucky as kids. Then, I dont really have any other reply, other than – I just really really love it. I really do.
Today I got to shoot some friends of ours – whose little girl happens to be someone, my wee girl – absolutely adores. And as I am looking through the photos tonight – a new answer to that question will be – ” I just hope to capture a moment. Honestly and truly. For what it is. I hope that when people look through the photos I take, something snags them in. That they recognise an expression. A look. Something they have always wanted to have captured. Forever.
